I'm in!

I've already posted a question on the forum asking how much a typical stormtrooper outfit would cost. What I hope to find out is as a new member, why would people be motivated to help me make a costume? After all, they know nothing about me and I haven't contributed to the group yet. But then again, it couldn't hurt to help.

  1. Despite the stereotypes that longer about nerds in costumes and how we all apparently live by ourselves in our parents' basements, the act of "trooping" is a very social activity. Think about it. One guy in a stormtrooper costume standing out in front of a movie theater is pretty nerdy, I admit. If five of his trooper buddies show up, it starts to get imposing. Ten or more, and it is intimidating.

We want more people to become interested in this hobby. You find out very quickly that one needs to network in order to maximize the accuracy of your costume.
